Chip Richards

An internationally published author, screenwriter and creative guide, Chip Richard’s writing career spans the mediums of feature film, fiction, poetry and journalism.

With an honors degree in English from Dartmouth College, Chip made his mainstream screenwriting debut as the writer of the critically acclaimed feature film, 'One Perfect Day', and spent three years as head writer for Lightstream Pictures in the USA, facilitating an international team of writers, animators and storyboard artists.

Chip is a regular contributor to Living Now magazine in Australia, and works in a creative consulting capacity with authors and projects ranging from novels and children’s books to documentary film.

Merging a foundation of formal training with decades of professional experience and soulful adventure, Chip carries a deep faith in the magic of life, a passion for human potential and a zest for igniting the creative gifts of others.

His love of story and reverence for our living planet has propelled him to create the 'Writing the Story Within' experience (book, CD, DVD and mentorship program) as a pathway for individuals of all walks to bring their creative visions through onto the page... and out to the world for the good of all.
